There is some debate as to whether there are Anolis porcatus (the Cuban green anole) in southern Florida in addition to Anolis carolinensis. There have been reports of A. porcatus, but genetic analyses have not yet indicated its presence. This individual was photographed in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
